It's time for the annual Christmas Gift Bag drive! Every year, we have the opportunity to love our valley. You can help by taking a bag and bringing it back filled with items on the included list. Once finished, return the filled bag to FCC and we will take care of the rest! Bags will be distributed to the 6 schools in our area who have requested gift bags for children in need.

Operation Turkey Drop

OPERATION TURKEY DROP

This Thanksgiving Day, we are excited to express our gratitude for our local First Responders, who sacrifice time with their families to protect and serve our communities.

We aim to provide meals for nearly 700 people at 40 locations throughout the Roanoke Valley, including fire and police stations, emergency rooms, dispatch centers, and jails.

Delivery drivers from each campus are also needed to deliver these meals on Thanksgiving morning. It is a great way to serve with your family!

This class is designed specifically for children ages 6-12 and will help children and parents understand and answer the following questions. 

  • What does it mean to say you are a Christian?

  • What is Baptism?

  • What is the Lord’s Supper?

  • What is the local church and their role in helping people know Christ as their Savior?

  • What do I do now that I am a Christian? 

Children, and their parent(s), will have the opportunity to participate in fun, age-appropriate lessons that will initiate engaging conversations with peers and other parents, play games together, and complete daily Bible readings together.

FCC is excited to offer a new 6-week men’s study starting this fall, from October 6- November 10.

Join us for “Sit, Walk, and Stand”. This study is based on the book of Ephesians and will provide you with both deep theological insights and practical applications for believers as we live out our faith in a sexualized culture.

You will learn how our position in Christ (Sit) allows us to live out our identity (Walk) and enables us to stand strong against the pressures and attacks we face (Stand). As a believer, you will be encouraged to transform your life in a way that aligns with your new identity in Christ, which will help you grow personally, and persevere in your faith. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to be equipped to respond to the culture that we live in.

On Wednesday nights from 5:45 to 7:45 PM, enjoy a delicious meal and rest easy knowing childcare is provided for Pre-K and classes are available for elementary kids with advanced registration. Students have the opportunity to participate in the classes with advanced registration. 

Explore diverse topics that cater to every aspect of your Christian journey, whether it's diving into a bible study, strengthening your marriage or parenting relationships, understanding theological foundations, or discovering practical ways to apply faith in everyday life. (Each class lasts the full six-weeks, so you only sign up for one class.)

The Gathering will begin with a catered box meal the first week and then theme-night potlucks the remaining weeks.
